Consulting

■ Model house viewing
We went to view different series of "Yabashi's Home"models and we liked concept and design of "Yuuraku" series.

■ Finding the land
When it comes to buying the land, the Sales person gave us advices on the housing loan as well as helped us with communicating with the estate agent and the bank.



■ Factory viewing
I joined factory visit with my family to see the reason for the "Safety and Security". We get to know the difference in the strength of traditional construction method and metal joint method with demonstration using jacks. It was fun way to see how strong the metal joint method is.

■ Construction site viewing
We went to see the working site of house construction. It was great to see that our house is going to be built in the working site like this, which was kept very tidy and beautiful, and the insulation material is sprayed without any gaps.

■ House viewing
We got to visit the house which the construction has been completed and the customer has moved in

■ Needs hearing and capital planning
We told the sales person about what we want in our home like we want a open ceiling space, bedroom on the ground floor, simply line of flow for when washing the clothes etc. We discussed about funding such as rough price and housing loan etc.
Area・Subsurface survey

■ Subsurface Investigation・Survey
To get to know the characteristics of planned construction site, they carried out area and subsurface survey before the Planning. It was found that we need to do the ground amendment and we were pleased with the amendment carried out.
Planning

■ Planning・Basic design
Taking into account for the land shape, lighting and building strength etc. as well as our demand, Yabashi Forestry's Architechnos Design Office made a plan of the house. Based on this initial plan, we met with them and discussed several times. We were able to experience what it is going to be like with the simulated image and perspective drawing of the house inside out.

The plan is created by the female planner with experience in housework and child-raising, the plan has some ideas to make life easier from female point of view as well.
Quotation・Signing ceremony・ Design documents

■ Estimation
The company handles all the process of house making from land amendment, house construction to gardening, so the quotation was easy to understand.



■ Signing ceremony
Once we finalise the plan and quotation, it is time for signing the contract. They gave us a fountain pen as a present and using that pen, we signed the contract with excitement. Around this time, we went to kitchen and bath showrooms with the sales personnel and decided on the specification and colour of them. We also decided on the exterior wall material, lightings and wallpaper patterns.



■ Design documents

We received the design plan of the house and had a final check before the construction starts. We were given various plans such as floor plan, frame plan, structure plan, garden plan etc. so we can check in detail and agreed with final plans.
Ground breaking ceremony and construction start

■ Ground breaking ceremony
We had a ceremony to pray for the safety of the construction and for our family once we move in. After the ceremony, the construction finally began.



■ Wood processing
The precutting of the wooden materials and production of the millwork materials began at the factory. We wanted to see the production so we had an oppoturnity to visit the factory and view the production.



■ Ground amendment・Foundation work
The ground was soft ground, so the columnar improvement was carried out to reinforce the land, which made us feel secure. Once the foundation was laid out, we could see the image of our house standing on this land.
Frame raising ceremony・Construction

■ Frame raising ceremony
After we greeted the carpenters and did the ritual of purifying the site with salt and sake, the frame raising started. The columns were stood up in a very short time and within the morning, ground floor was completed. As a memento, we experienced column pinning. By evening, the roof was finished so the frame of the whole house was raised in one day.

■ Carpentry・Other works (Roof, Exterior wall, Insulation, Interior finishing, House facility installation)
After the frame raising, the insulation material was sprayed without any gaps. During the construction, we went to have a look almost everyday. Whenever we go, the site was safe and neatly tidied, so our 2years old daughter can walk around without any worry.
We were looking forward to see each parts of the house such as columns, wall, ceiling, wallpaper etc... being completed day by day. We wanted a dining table made by Yabashi Koubou and chequered flooring, so when they were installed and were just as we imagined, we were very impressed and happy.
Gardening

■ Gardening
We wanted to live with green nature close by, so we requested our garden to have many trees and flowers. We chose the trees and flowers which are easy to maintain for a beginner such as ones that are easy to keep the tree shape. They provided us with our garden's special flower callendar which shows list of trees and blooming season for flowers and fruits. This callendar has been very useful even after we started living in the house.

We wanted to use real good materials, so we went to choose not only trees but stones as well. Terrace with natural stones, stone pillars and grass at the entrance, gradually meandering entrance approach and night light that makes us feel relaxed when we come home... The house and garden are both completed at the same time so as soon as we moved in, we could enjoy the garden.
Completion・Inspection・Handover ceremony

■ Handover ceremony
Finally, our home is completed! We had a heart moving tape-cut ceremony. Once we enter our house, we are greeted by the chequered flooring and William Morris wallpaper and this entrance space is my favorite.
■ Moving in
We spent a few months looking for furnitures which matches our "Yuraku" house and they were delivered one by one. We are so excited for the new chapter in our life.
After-sale service

■ After-sale service
The after-sale check is carried out by the site supervisor of the house 3months, 6months and one year after moving in. From 2nd year onwards, periodic inspection is carried out by after-sale service PIC.

Yabashi's Home also provide service from small renovation like making kitchen easier to use and bathroom renewal to full renovation of a house which adds extra value to your house. We want to look after our customer's house for the lifetime.
