What makes a really good house?
This is the question Yabashi Forestry always has to ask itself. We believe that we have to draw out family's iedal state from the view of the origin of people's life and continue making houses for that rather than getting carried away by the trend or the fashon. As new technology being developped and lifestyle changing, how do the houses have to change? Also, what factor of Japanese houses must not change?
We think Yabashi's answer to those question is in "Yuuraku", Yabashi Forestry's 60th anniversary model.

Interior has full of carefully selected solid woods and its layout pursues natural comfort with classic style ceiling window and lower window makes you feel the coolness of natural wind and warmth of the sun ray. The Smart Skeleton is selected for the structure to ensure the structural strength. Rather than relying on electrical appliances to maintain the comfortability, we utilise the power of Nature. We think that will be more ecological and reduce the stress on people living, which will lead to true spiritually fulfilling life with comfort.

Connecting the space helps deepen the communication amongst family. Warm air that tend sto stay in the upper part is stirred by ventillation system to maintain the even temperature in the uppper and the lower part of the house. This helps keeping the house in comfortable temperature. It also reduces the burden on your body from the temperature difference upon moving rooms, and also prevents you from getting the heat-shock. Reducing the partition wall and utilising curtains, lattices and screens will maintain the privacy while not disrupting the air flow. It will help you sense the presense of your family in the house.

You can feel the seasonal changes from the trees in your garden, which are designed with woodland scenery in mind.
In the summer, the broad leaves of the trees shield you from the sun rays and it brings you the cool breath. In the winter, leaves drop and plenty of sun light shines into your room.
Installing the skylight and windows in the upper section helps bringing the light and wind into the house. We try to utilise the power of nature (Called Passive Eco). Having windows at different height helps air movement and encourages air to flow through the house.
